The Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS) was the womens branch of the British Army during the Second World War. It was formed on 9 September 1938, initially as a womens voluntary service, and existed until 1 February 1949, when it was merged into the Womens Royal Army Corps.

Bevelled wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 archival quality photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, the Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang.
