EDITORS COMMENTS
In this charming print captured by John Randle, we are transported back to the 1990s, specifically the 19th of March in 1993. The image showcases Mrs Sarah Simmonds, a proud owner of a beautiful King Charles Spaniel dog. However, upon closer inspection, it becomes evident that her beloved pet's coat has been cut too short. The adorable King Charles Spaniel stands beside its owner with an unmistakable expression of discontentment on its face. Its fur appears slightly uneven and shorter than usual, giving it a rather comical appearance. Despite the misfortune of the unfortunate haircut, there is no denying the undeniable bond between Mrs Simmonds and her loyal companion. This snapshot serves as a reminder that even our furry friends can experience moments of dissatisfaction or discomfort. It captures not only the physical aspect but also hints at an emotional connection between human and animal—a testament to their unbreakable bond. John Randle's expertise behind the lens allows us to witness this endearing moment frozen in time. As we gaze upon this photograph from Memory Lane Prints, we cannot help but smile at both Mrs Sarah Simmonds' affectionate presence and her King Charles Spaniel's resilient spirit despite its less-than-ideal haircut.
