The normally quiet cul-de-sac in the Manchester suburb of Cheadle is a hive of activity these days. Since Alex Hurricane Higgins won the championship on May 16, there is seldom room outside the £ 125, 000 bungalow to contain the constant stream of visitors. Inside, the Higgins family try to carry on with normal lives, but after ten years waiting for his second title, the Hurricane is quite happy with the chaos. His wife Lyn takes it all in her capable stride, but even she will be pleased when the couple take a well earned break in Portugal.
