Museum chiefs have taken a crunch decision to acquire the complete contents of the last
Museum chiefs have taken a crunch decision to acquire the complete contents of the last rock making shop to close in Redcar. A display about how the sticky stuff was made, combined with a photographic display of the resort as a whole will be on show. John Robert Jenny set up Rockfellers in 1935 to cater for the thousands of seaside trippers who flocked to Redcar. Curator Phil Philo is pictured with some of the equipment. 3rd February 1989
