The Vaux Brewery in Sunderland - a nostalgic glimpse into the end of an era. This print captures the essence of a significant day in history, when it was announced that the North East hotel would be bidding farewell to its brewing and wholesaling business. Dated 14 September 1998, this image showcases a magnificent brewers dray horse standing proudly outside the factory gates, ready to embark on its final journey. The horse's presence symbolizes the deep-rooted traditions and craftsmanship associated with this once-thriving industry.
