Bevelled wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 archival quality photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, the Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Meet Doreen Bridle, affectionately known as Old Nora, who found herself navigating through the hardships of life during the 1980s. Doreen's world crumbled when her beloved husband passed away. Left to face an uncertain future alone, she struggled to pick up the pieces. With each passing year, life became increasingly challenging for this resilient soul. Accompanied by her loyal companion Blackie, a faithful four-legged friend who provided solace in times of despair, Doreen faced countless nights on the streets. The image freezes a moment in time where they sought refuge together at a shop doorway – their makeshift home. The date etched into history is November 19th, 1982 – forever marking the day that fate took its final toll on Doreen Bridle. As sleep overcame her weary body that night, it also claimed her life.
