Dated to the 13th century during the Nineteenth Dynasty of Egypt's New Kingdom, this masterpiece was discovered in the Ramesseum, located in the Necropolis of Thebes, specifically in the Valley of the Kings. Ramses II, a renowned pharaoh of the great Egyptian Empire, is depicted in this relief with an imposing presence. He is seated on a throne, his knees touching the ground in a sign of deep respect. The gods Amun, Munt, and Khonsu are shown in their mythological forms, each bestowing their blessings upon the Pharaoh.
