Bevelled wood effect frame, card mounted, 30x20 archival quality photo print. Overall outside dimensions 36x26 inches (92x67cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: To minimise original artwork cropping, for optimum layout, and to ensure print is secure, the visible print may be marginally smaller

This evocative photograph captures the moment of homecoming for the trawler Ocean Reward as it sails into Bridlington harbour in the North Sea, circa 1987. The grey, moody sky above the pierhead and pier reflects the raw and unpredictable nature of the marine environment that the seafarer and his crew have braved during their offshore journey. The trawler, with its bow cutting through the waves, exudes a sense of determination and resilience as it returns to the safety and familiarity of the harbour. The white foam at the bow and the spray of the waves against the hull add texture and depth to the image, while the clouds in the sky hint at the ever-changing weather conditions that are a constant part of life at sea. The trawler's homecoming is a poignant reminder of the nautical traditions and the close-knit community that exists within the maritime world.
