EDITORS COMMENTS
This photograph showcases the sleek and elegant Dassault Falcon 20C, specifically the MSN 15 aircraft with the registration number N622R, which was part of the Winrock Farms fleet between May 1966 and September 1968. Circa 1967, this image freezes a moment in time as the Falcon 20C takes to the skies, embodying the spirit of aviation and the allure of private flight. The Dassault Falcon 20C, a French-manufactured business jet, was first introduced in 1963 and quickly gained popularity for its advanced design and impressive performance capabilities. With a cruising speed of over 450 miles per hour and a range of nearly 2,500 miles, this aircraft was an ideal choice for private aviation. In this photograph, N622R is seen taxing on the runway, poised for takeoff. The Falcon 20C's distinctive twin tail fins and winglets are prominently displayed against the backdrop of a clear blue sky. The aircraft's sleek lines and aerodynamic design are accentuated by the contrasting shadows cast by the sun. Winrock Farms, the owner of N622R during this period, was a prominent name in the agricultural industry. However, the use of the Falcon 20C for commercial purposes is not mentioned in the available records. It is believed that the aircraft was used for personal travel, further emphasizing the exclusivity and luxury associated with private aviation during this era. This photograph is a testament to the allure of flight and the enduring appeal of the Dassault Falcon 20C. It offers a glimpse into the past, transporting us back to a time when the skies were a symbol of freedom and adventure.
