Lady Diana and Elizabeth Percy, the two daughters of the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland. Lady Diana was being presented by her mother at one of the June courts. She married the Duke of Sutherland in 1939 at Westminster Abbey. Her elder sister Elizabeth (1916-2008), married the 14th Duke of Hamilton in 1937 at St. Giles, Edinburgh and had five sons.
