The image portrays the helmsman standing steadfastly aft, steering the boat through the tumultuous waves, while the look-out scans the horizon for any further signs of danger in the bows. Ten oarsmen, their faces set with concentration, row with all their might to propel the boat forward. The Greatheads Lifeboat, a pioneering design of its time, was renowned for its seaworthiness and ability to navigate even the most treacherous waters.
