The artwork, created by Heinrich Aldegrever, a renowned German artist from Paderborn in the early 16th century, is a testament to his exceptional talent and attention to detail. The engraving sheet measures approximately 4 3/4 inches by 3 1/16 inches (12.78 cm) and depicts Saint John alongside four evangelists. The intricate lines and delicate shading bring this religious scene to life, capturing the essence of devotion and spirituality.
