EDITORS COMMENTS
This print showcases a remarkable Labyrinthodontier fossil, specifically the amphibian Actenodon Latirostris, originating from the lower Permian period. Preserved in stunning detail, this artefact offers us a glimpse into the ancient world of these extinct creatures. The image captures the intricate skeleton of this labyrinthodontia species with precision and clarity. Every bone is fossilised to perfection, revealing its unique features and structure. The vibrant colors used in this photograph bring life to an otherwise long-gone creature, emphasizing its significance as a part of our natural history. Located in Bad Kreuznach, Odernheim within Germany's Rhineland region, this extraordinary find serves as a testament to the rich biodiversity that once thrived there millions of years ago.
