EDITORS COMMENTS
This print captures the essence of nature's beauty with its focus on a Dock Bug, scientifically known as Coreus marginatus. The picture was taken in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany, showcasing the incredible biodiversity found in this region. The Dock Bug stands proudly against a backdrop of lush green plants, highlighting its vibrant colors and intricate details. Its full-length posture allows us to appreciate the elegance and grace of this fascinating insect species. Hans Lang, an accomplished wildlife photographer, skillfully captured this moment in time where the Dock Bug takes center stage. With no people present in the frame, we are able to fully immerse ourselves in the natural world and marvel at its wonders. As part of the Hemiptera order within Insecta class, Coreus marginatus belongs to a diverse group commonly referred to as true bugs or rhynchota heteroptera. This image serves as a reminder of their vital role within ecosystems and their contribution to maintaining balance in our environment. Displayed horizontally with vivid colors that bring out every detail, this photograph is not only aesthetically pleasing but also educational. It invites viewers to explore and appreciate animal wildlife up close while reminding us of the importance of preserving these habitats for future generations
