Taken by an English photographer in the 19th century, this image showcases a group of influential individuals who played key roles in shaping the future of mail delivery. In celebration of Sir James Winter's birthday on November 9th, this photograph features notable figures such as Lord Strathcona, Canadian Postmaster General; Mr. A. A. Pearson, Cape Agent General; and Mr. W. Muloch from Newfoundland among others. They gather together to discuss important matters related to postal services within their respective regions.
