EDITORS COMMENTS
This print showcases the stunning "View of Saint-Germain-l Auxerrois" in Paris, captured around 1802 by the talented artist Thomas Naudet. The artwork, created with watercolor and gouache on paper, measures an impressive 50.9x82 cm and is currently housed at the Musee de la Ville de Paris, Musee Carnavalet. The image transports us to a time when daily life unfolded in this picturesque square. The focal point is undoubtedly the Gothic church of Saint-Germain-l Auxerrois, which dates back to the 13th-16th century.
