The oil on canvas masterpiece, created around 1781, measures an impressive 112 x 84 cm and is housed in the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid, Spain. The artwork portrays a powerful biblical scene from the story of Abraham and Isaac. In this poignant moment, Abraham prepares to sacrifice his beloved son as an act of unwavering faith.
