EDITORS COMMENTS
This print showcases a mesmerizing detail from a polyptych titled "The Annunciation, detail from a polyptych depicting The Lives of the Saints". Created by the talented artist Giovanni da Milano in 1353-63, this masterpiece is housed in the Museo Civico in Prato, Italy. In this particular section of the polyptych, we witness an intimate moment between two celestial beings. On the left side stands Gabriel, one of God's most revered angels.
