In this photo print, we are transported back to the vibrant streets of Lambeth in South London during the 1950s. The image features Peggy, a young girl who played a significant role in Karel Reiszs' iconic film "We Are The Lambeth Boys" released in 1959. Peggy's youthful innocence shines through her expressive eyes as she stands against the backdrop of Alford House, an emblematic location that served as a hub for social activities and community engagement. This powerful snapshot encapsulates the essence of working-class life in post-war Britain.
