EDITORS COMMENTS
Great photo capturing a memorable moment from Arsenal's victory over Watford in the Barclays Premiership on December 26, 2006. In this image, Arsenal's Dutch striker Robin van Persie is seen celebrating his second goal for the team with his English teammate Theo Walcott. The goal came at Vicarage Road, Watford, and helped secure a crucial 2-1 win for Arsenal. Van Persie, who had only joined Arsenal in August 2004, was becoming an essential player for the team, and this goal was a testament to his growing impact. Walcott, who was just 18 years old at the time, was making a name for himself as a promising young talent in the English Premier League. The goal was a significant one for Arsenal, who were facing a tough opponent in Watford. The team's morale was boosted by van Persie's strike, and they went on to secure a hard-fought victory. This win helped Arsenal maintain their position in the top four of the league table and keep the pressure on the league leaders. The photo shows the excitement and joy on the faces of both players as they celebrate the goal together. It's a reminder of the team spirit and camaraderie that exists within the Arsenal squad and the importance of every goal scored in the pursuit of success. This image is a testament to the talent and determination of Arsenal's players and their ability to come together to achieve their goals.
