Tube Eye Collection

Tube Eye is a small, eel-like fish found in the Indian Ocean and has a long, slender body and can grow up to 40 cm in length. Its eyes are large and tube-shaped, giving it its name. The fish is usually brown or olive green in color with dark stripes running along its sides. It feeds mainly on small crustaceans and worms that it finds on the ocean floor. Tube Eyes have been known to live up to 30 years in captivity and can be found living in both shallow waters near coral reefs as well as deeper waters of up to 200 meters deep and are considered an important food source for many other species of fish due to their abundance throughout the Indian Ocean region.
