August 15, 2004 - An F/A-18F Super Hornet of Strike Fighter Squadron 102 is parked on the bow of the USS Kitty Hawk's (CV-63) flight deck during a no-fly day. The Kitty Hawk is participating in a scheduled deployment and supporting Summer Pulse 2004, a Navy exercise where seven aircraft carrier strike groups will learn new ways of operating, training, manning and maintaining their fleet. =
