London: Squatters at the empty 60 room mansion a 144, Piccadilly, London, this morning. Ironically, adorning the wall of the building is a poster with the message, " London Policemen are Wonderful."
The squatters took over the building earlier this week, and by last night, it was reported that 350 persons had moved into the building, which is owned by the Amalgamated West End Developments and Property Trust Ltd.
Yesterday, an ultimatum was given to the squatters in the form of a high court order requiring them to leave the premises by 1600 hours tomorrow.
Dr John Moffat leader went to court with letter signed by 19 other occupants for more time to get evidence against the eviction.
