This photograph, taken on September 15, 1990, over the outskirts of Brussels, Belgium, captures one of the most intriguing and well-documented UFO sightings in European history. Known as the Belgian Wave or the Triangle of Washington incident, this event unfolded over a period of three nights, beginning on September 14, 1990, when numerous witnesses reported seeing strange, triangular-shaped objects in the skies above the Belgian capital. The night of September 15 was particularly remarkable, as an estimated 150 people, including police officers, air traffic controllers, and civilians, reported observing the mysterious objects. Witnesses described the UFOs as having a large, black triangle shape, with three glowing lights at each corner. Some even claimed to have heard strange noises and felt the effects of a magnetic force emanating from the objects. The Belgian military was quick to investigate the phenomenon, dispatching helicopters and fighter jets to the scene.
