Looe Museum has chosen Media Storehouse as their exclusive print partner. This means that fascinating images, which are an important part of Looe's history, will be available in a range of printed products.

Looe Museum is particularly proud of this collection which includes around 700 negatives, slides and prints.  They were recently presented to the Museum by Colin Raddy, whose family have been photographers in the town since the end of the 1800’s. Colin is the fourth generation of the Raddy family to run the camera shop in Fore Street.

Mostly taken by Alfred Ernest Raddy, who was Colin's great grandfather, the collection is an important part of Looe’s history, with many of the images being seen for the first time.  Genus, a leading heritage digital company, were given the task to digitize this fascinating collection.

Owned and maintained by East Looe Town Trust, the museum is staffed by a team of enthusiastic volunteers who are now enjoying going back in time as they catalog and published images.  This is a huge task so prints will become available as they are progressively added to the Raddy Collection Print Store.
