This photograph, taken by renowned British photographer Ernest Jones, captures a historic moment in the annals of the Royal Navy as HMS Theseus sets sail from Portsmouth Harbour in 1956. The HMS Theseus, an aircraft carrier of the Majestic-class, is laden with troops and vehicles, ready to embark on a mission to Egypt as part of the Suez Crisis.
