Ipswich Town Football Club is an English professional association football club based in Ipswich, Suffolk. Founded in 1878, they currently compete in the Championship, the second tier of English football. They have won the English league title once and have twice been runners-up and has competed in all three European club competitions and has reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup on two occasions.
