Morecambe Collection

Morecambe Football Club is a professional association football club based in Morecambe, Lancashire, England. The team currently competes in League Two, the fourth tier of the English football league system. Founded in 1920 as Morecambe FC, they were elected to the Football League in 1921 and have since played at various levels of the English game, and are known for their rivalry with nearby Lancaster City and their home ground is Globe Arena which has a capacity of 6476 spectators. The team has had mixed success over its history but have won several honours including two Lancashire Combination titles and one Northern Premier League title. They also reached the final of the FA Trophy twice but lost both times and can now managed by Derek Adams who was appointed in 2019 and will be hoping to lead them back up into higher divisions of English football.
