Committee for French exhibition of 1888. 19th-century artwork of the members of the committee that organised the French Art Exhibition in Copenhagen of 1888 (Danish: Den Franske Kunstudstilling). This exhibition aimed to show the development of French art over the previous 60 years, including works by Courbet, Manet, Rodin, Monet, Pissaro, and Raffaelli. This etching (for the Gazette des Beaux Arts) was by Polish artist Feliks Stanislaw Jasinski (1862-1901) after the painting by Norwegian-Danish artist Peder Severin Kroyer (1851-1909)
