Auriga constellation. Auriga, the charioteer, is a northern constellation. Its brightest star is Capella (Alpha Aurigae, upper centre), which is the sixth brightest star in the sky. The bright orange star at lower right is Aldebaran (Alpha Tauri) in the neighbouring constellation Taurus. The Milky Way passes through Auriga from bottom left to upper right, and several nebulae (red) and star clusters are seen within it
