This photograph captures the timeless beauty of Medros Farmhouse and Methrose Farmhouse, nestled in the idyllic village of Luxulyan, Cornwall. Taken in 1959 by photographer Charles Woolf, it offers a glimpse into the rich history and architectural marvels of this rural gem. The focal point of the image is undoubtedly the farmhouse and its enchanting courtyard walls. These walls, constructed from sturdy granite rubble and adorned with exquisite granite ashlar facades, stand as a testament to their mid-17th-century origins.
