The Radcliffe Camera, Oxford, England

The Radcliffe Camera (Camera, meaning room in Latin) is situated in Oxford, England. Designed by James Gibbs in English Palladian Style and built in 1737-1749
The work was funded from the estate of John Radcliffe. The building serves as a reading room for the Bodleian Library. Sited to the south of the Old Bodleian, north of St. Mary's Church and between Brasenose College (west) and All Souls College (east)

St Paul's Church, St Paul's Square, Birmingham, West Midlands. Built in 1776-9 to the designs of Roger Eykyn as the centrepiece of a fine square of town houses built for merchants, industrialists and professional men. The belfrey and spire were added in 1822-3. Photographed in August 1999

Clifton Suspension Bridge - Chambers

Clifton Suspension bridge in Bristol designed by engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel. A series of secret chambers have been found in the bridge more than 160 years after they were built, it has been disclosed. * The twelve chambers inside an abutment (right) of the Bridge are up to 11 metres high and have been described as cathedral-like. It is thought they were incorporated into the design to save on building materials but engineers have said the bridge's structure is perfectly safe
