Although in recent years Glasgow artist Limond has almost exclusively confined himself to painting seascapes and landscapes, he as a product of Glasgow school of Art was more involved in portraiture, studying the old masters and painters of the day.
In earlier years, Limond would spend the summer months sketching portraits of tourists and holidaymakers etc in various places such as Paris, Barcelona and more to home, holiday camps throughout the UK.
