The 2019-2020 season was a rollercoaster ride for both teams, with Preston North End battling to maintain their promotion push, while Swansea City were fighting to avoid relegation. In this thrilling encounter, the home side took the lead through Alan Browne's goal in the first half, only for Swansea to equalize through Andre Ayew just before the hour mark. The tension was palpable as the clock ticked down, with both teams pushing for a winner. But it was Preston North End who held on to claim a valuable point, thanks in part to some resilient defending and some crucial saves from goalkeeper Declan Rudd. Harrop and Johnson, two of the team's most creative players, were at the heart of the action, linking up brilliantly in midfield and creating numerous chances for their teammates. As the final whistle blew, the relief and joy on the faces of Harrop and Johnson was clear to see. This point was a crucial one in Preston North End's season, keeping them in the promotion hunt and putting some daylight between themselves and the relegation zone.
