Assen, Holland: Britain Mike Hailwood (N0 . 1), worlds motor cycling champion, riding a four-cylinder Italian M.V., closely follows team mate Giacomo Agostini (N0.2) as they round a bend during Senior Dutch T.T. Race at Assen, June 26th, Hailwood, who won the recent Isle of Man Senior T.T., for the third successive year, set up a new record when he won the event after a great duel with Agostini. His time for the 96.6-mile race was duel with Agostini. His time for the 96.6-miles race was 64:59.6 seconds - An average of 88.4 M.P.H.

Isle Of Man: 24 year old Rhodesian, Gary Hocking won his first senior T.T. race

Isle Of Man: 24 year old Rhodesian, Gary Hocking won his first senior T.T. race here yesterday at the record speed of 103.51 m.p.h for the 226.4 miles of the mountain coarse
Pushing his machine to the limit, Hocking, this years Rhodesian "Federal Sportsman Of The Year" rode his M.V. Augusta 500 c.c. four cylinder machine to a record breaking lap of 105.75 M.P.H.
The previous record was set up by John Surtees in 1960 with a speed of 104.08 M.P.H.
Here, Hocking, who came to the country in 1958 from Bulawayo and holds an M.B.E., takes his machine into a right had corner approaching Governor's Bridge during the race.
Second was E. Boyce on a 499 c.c. Norton and third was F. Stevens, also riding a 499 c.c. Norton.

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd seen in the paddock after winning the 125 cc TT race on the Isle of Man. 1st was Luigi Taveri (no 6), of Switzerland, 2nd Tommy Robb (no 8) from Ireland and 3rd Tom Phillis (No 5) from Australia who was killed later yesterday in the Junior (350cc) TT race.
