The poster was produced to promote travel to France to England on Southern Railway services, and shows a scene of pomp and circumstance that would have been associated with England. The illustration shows a state procession in The Mall. Horses in livery are pulling an elaborate carriage, whilst the Queens Guard lines either side of the road.
