RAF Halifax heavy bombers operating with the two Mediterranean Air Forces have not been
RAF Halifax heavy bombers operating with the two Mediterranean Air Forces have not been prevented from attacking enemy targets although heavy rains have turned parts of their airfields into huge lakes.
They attacked targets in Bulgaria on three successive nights and a German occupied shipbuilding base at Monfalcone at the head of the Gulf of Panzano, north west of Trieste.
