Eurythmics were a British pop duo consisting of members singer Annie Lennox and guitarist Dave Stewart. Stewart and Lennox were both previously in the band the Tourists.
The duo released their first studio album, In the Garden, in 1981 to little success, but went on to achieve global success with their second album Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), released in 1983
The General Wolfe was a popular music pub in Coventry. It closed in 2011, eventually becoming a restaurant.

In this print from December 1981, we witness the iconic British pop duo, The Eurythmics, performing at The General Wolfe in Foleshill, Coventry.
