Formed by Lennox and guitarist Dave Stewart after their time in the band the Tourists, The Eurythmics initially faced little success with their debut album "In the Garden" released earlier that year. However, they would soon rise to global fame with their groundbreaking second album "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" in 1983.
