Apple Corps Ltd (informally known as Apple) is a multi-armed multimedia corporation founded in London in January 1968 by the members of the Beatles to replace their earlier company (Beatles Ltd) and to form a conglomerate. Its name (pronounced " apple core" ) is a pun.
At the time of this picture The Beatles had just started work recording The White album, which was released in November 1968.

The iconic Beatles, Paul McCartney and John Lennon, along with Neil Aspinall, their road manager and Apple Corps Managing Director, are seen gathered together in the Apple Building on Wigmore Street in Central London.
