Netting funds for charity - for these youngsters have raised more than £ 100 in a 10-hour sponsored badminton marathon. They are (from left) Steven Warburton, 13, Howard Walker, 14, Reuben Burston, 13, and Richard Hemmingway, 14. The marathon was held at Hartshead Parish Church Sunday School to raise money for the Leeds and District Friends of Action for Research into Multiple Sclerosis (ARMS). Reuben is from Scholes, Cleckheaton, and the other three boys live at Hartshead. The event was organised by Howard. 22nd October 1986
