EDITORS COMMENTS
In this heartwarming photo, Holly Bank School headteacher Mr Trevor Hodkinson graciously accepts a generous £70 cheque from a group of children in Norristhorpe Avenue, Liversedge. These eleven remarkable children, aged six to thirteen, went above and beyond to raise funds for the Holly Bank appeal - an initiative aimed at relocating the school to Roe Head in Mirfield. The dedication and determination displayed by Jane Templeton, Karen North, Alison and Andrew Roome, Kate Ellis, Emma and Lisa Rhodes, Nicola and Stephanie Wood, Matthew Monkman, and Kelly Slater is truly commendable. Their fundraising efforts culminated in a delightful garden party where bric-a-brac items were sold alongside delectable homemade cakes.
