Attention... young Craig Kain had a week of double celebration - he was presented with his gold arrow - the top award for cubs - and had his 11th birthday. Craig, of Botham Hall, a member of Scapegoat Hill Cubs, is pictured receiving his certificate from cub leader Christine Collier. Craig a pupil of Crow Lane School, Milnsbridge, gained his award by learning about activities including tracking, knots, observation, caring for pets, first-aid and kite making. Among those at the presentation were cubs from the Jewish Sinai Synagogue in Leeds, who were given a tour of Scapegoat Hill Baptist Chapel, where the local Cub pack meets by the minister, the Rev Brian Walters. 16th September 1987
