Learning to look after pets are the Guides from the 7th Mirfield unit with Mr Rex Burton, who tested the girls taking their " Friends of Animals" badge. They are, from left, Fiona Robinson, Angela Falkingham, Susan Brook, Kathryn Duffy and Amanda Barker. To get their badges the girls had to prove that they could look after their pet and would know what to do if the animal fell ill, and how to contact a vet. The pets evening was held at the Christ the King parish rooms, Battyeford. 19th June 1985
