King James have had one of their best soccer seasons in their history
King James have had one of their best soccer seasons in their history. Their three teams have lost only two matches all season with the Under 16s and Under 13s winning Huddersfield Schools League sections and the Under 12s finishing second. The Under 12 side won seven of their 11 games, drawing three and losing one, while the Under 13 team had six wins and a draw in seven games. The Under 16s were the most successful, however, winning the cup with victory over Colne Valley on the Town Ground. They also lost in the quarter-finals of the West Yorkshire Cup. King James School celebrates a historic soccer season! With only two losses throughout the entire season, this has undoubtedly been one of their best performances in history. The school's three teams have showcased exceptional talent and determination, leaving their mark on the Huddersfield Schools League. The Under 16s and Under 13s have emerged as champions in their respective league sections, while the Under 12s secured an impressive second-place finish. The Under 12 side displayed remarkable consistency with seven wins out of eleven games, accompanied by three draws and just one loss. Similarly, the Under 13 team dominated with six victories and a draw from seven matches. However, it was the Under 16s who stole the spotlight by clinching victory in the cup final against Colne Valley at Town Ground. Their triumph added to an already outstanding season that saw them reach the quarter-finals of the prestigious West Yorkshire Cup.
