In this heartwarming photo print, we witness a coffee morning and stalls event that successfully raised an impressive £88 for an organization dedicated to supporting parents who have experienced the loss of still-born children. The compassionate members of the mother and toddler group at St Johns C of E Junior and Infants School in Golcar came together to make a difference in their community. Seated on the left is Mrs Angela Hampshire, the leader of this caring group, as she proudly presents a cheque to Mrs Sally Wilson, the local organizer from Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society (SANDS). Joining them on the right is head teacher Mrs Pat Cross, showing her support for this noble cause. The SANDS society, based at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary in West Yorkshire, offers vital counseling services, emotional support, and essential equipment to grieving parents during one of life's most challenging experiences. This generous donation will undoubtedly help provide comfort and assistance to those who need it most. This touching snapshot captures not only the spirit of giving but also showcases how communities can come together to create positive change.
