The number two seed, received one public waring and was then docked 2 penalty points as he beat Tom Gullikson 7-6, 7-5. 6-3 in a bad tempered confrontation on Court One.
McEnroes warning came after he angrily smashed a racket, stamping on the strings and yanking off the handle.
Then he was fined the two penalty points for calling umpire Edward James " the pits of the world", and " an incompetent fool"
