Coronation Street star Ken Barlow had a hug for one of his fans, Bridie Griffin, when he paid a flying visit to Coventry to officially open the citys new MFI store. Actor Bill Roach, who plays Ken, revealed some behind-the-scenes gossip to a crowd of fans at the store in Canley Road, Coventry. Mrs Griffin, of Bramston Crescent, Tile Hill, told Bill, " You were always my favourite." The store is one of MFIs largest and has created 24 jobs.
