Cindy the puma found some new playmates when she moved house
Cindy the puma found some new playmates when she moved house. The two month old puma was badly hurt when her mother accidentally trod on her at the Flamingo Park Zoo in Malton, Yorks. So the zooOs director, Mr. Reg Bloom took her into his house. And there she made friends with two manx kittens. After her meals from a babyOs bottle Cindy romps around with the kittens. And when itOs bedtime Mr. BloomOs seven-year-old son, Peter, tucks her in. When Cindy and her two sister pumas are older they will be moved to a new zoo at Cleethorpes
A ball of wool is as big an attraction to a puma kitten as to any other.

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this heartwarming photo print, we witness the incredible bond formed between Cindy the puma and her newfound playmates. After a tragic accident left Cindy injured, she found solace in the care of Mr. Reg Bloom, director of Flamingo Park Zoo in Malton, Yorks. The two-month-old puma quickly became inseparable from two adorable Manx kittens. Captured during one of their playful escapades, Cindy's vibrant energy shines through as she romps around with her feline friends. Despite being hand-fed from a baby bottle after mealtime, Cindy's spirit remains untamed as she engages in mischievous adventures with her tiny companions. Even bedtime holds a special routine for this extraordinary trio. Peter Bloom, Mr. Bloom's seven-year-old son, takes on the role of tucking Cindy into bed each night—a testament to the deep affection shared between them. As time passes and these three grow older together, they will eventually be relocated to Cleethorpes' new zoo alongside Cindy's two sister pumas. However, it is moments like these that remind us that even fierce predators have an innate curiosity and capacity for joy—captivated by something as simple as a ball of wool. This delightful snapshot transports us back to February 1965 when innocence prevailed and reminds us that unexpected friendships can blossom under unlikely circumstances—showcasing both the cuteness and humor found within nature's most magnificent creatures.
