Families in Welbeck-street, Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancs. First heard her yapping on Friday but not until yesterday was she seen on the roof. Firemen were called to the rescue and R.S.P.C.A. Inspector Robert Foster also went along. It took him three-quarters-of-an hour to catch Beauty - with his dogcatcher pole with a loop on the end. March 1961
