Once upon a time in a far-off kingdom, there lived a beautiful princess named Donkey-Skin. Known for her exquisite taste and impeccable fashion sense, she was admired by all. However, the princess had a wicked stepmother who coveted her beauty and wealth. Desperate to get rid of her stepdaughter, the wicked queen ordered her three tailors to sew a magical dress for the princess, using the hide of a donkey for the fabric. The tailors, who were loyal to the princess, could not bear to carry out such a cruel task. Instead, they secretly made her a beautiful gown from the finest silk and presented it to her as a gift. The cunning queen, however, discovered the deception and demanded that the princess wear the donkey-skin dress in front of the entire kingdom. Humiliated and heartbroken, the princess fled her home and lived in the forest, disguised as a beggar. There, she met a kind and handsome prince who fell in love with her, not knowing she was the princess he had long admired. They married and lived happily ever after.
